518 children from Nikopol district spent an unforgettable summer abroad

“This summer, thanks to the joint efforts of our foundation and the Nikopol District Council, which are united by a joint memorandum, we managed to do everything possible to ensure that children of the Nikopol district could forget about their worries and enjoy a safe and joyful vacation abroad. Together we are working for the well-being of every resident of the district, and this common cause has become a vivid example of the power of teamwork.

This year, 518 children had the opportunity to spend the summer in different parts of Europe, where they were met with sincerity, care and hospitality.

In Austria, a real holiday of peace and harmony was created for our children. Thanks to the support of the Kiwanis Charitable Foundation of Lower Austria and the Landwirtschaftliche Fachschule Obersiebenbrunn, the children spent time in a picturesque place with clean air and a rich program. They visited ancient castles, the Vienna Zoo, amusement parks, and enjoyed the pool and games. Every minute of their stay was filled with joy and a sense of care.

In Italy, under the warm sun of the Italian summer, the children found peace and inspiration thanks to the support of Caritas Italiana. They were welcomed by friendly hosts, and the picturesque landscapes, warm sea and vibrant culture of this country became part of their unforgettable memories.

In North Macedonia, everything was organized with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in North Macedonia. Here, the children were fascinated by the hospitality of the locals, the beauty of nature and the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of this region.

In Greece, thanks to the support of the Ukrainian-Hellenic Initiative community, the children spent days full of sun, sea and friendly atmosphere. The beaches, excursions and warm hugs of the Greeks gave them a sense of peace and joy.

In Hungary, the children also received hospitality and care. The calm atmosphere, fascinating excursions and warm welcome helped them to recuperate and relax emotionally.

This large-scale project was made possible thanks to the support of numerous partners, benefactors and volunteers. We thank everyone who contributed to this good cause. Your concern helped the children not only to relax, but also to find new dreams and inspiration.

We are proud that together we were able to give the children of Nikopol district a summer full of light, joy and faith in the best. Together we continue to build a future where every child feels safe and happy.
